- Honey whiskey started off completely different
It started off from this picky guitar part and a really agressive bass
And conor sort of singing it slightly harder than he does now
And then we didnt really care about it
Its just a really fun track and offers again a breath of fresh air
It has a bit of pace on it and it has a bit space to it as well and atmosphere
I was just thinking about when we had to record it
And right at the beginning of our album session,
Our producer had showed Dom this thing on guitar
This sort of delay picking thing that you can do naturally.
I dont know what youd call that.
Yeah, it was just this, its basically tremello picking
Between your thumb and forefingers
I remember you sort of learning how to do that
And we were just like That is so cool
Its got to go in somewhere and then we went to go record Honey whiskey
And found an home for it and I always just hear that out now
Cause thats gonna come ...
